Three Beautifully Special Children Need Sponsors!

Please help us assist these special children!

We are only needing 3 more sponsors to help cover the cost of all 11 children.

Your $100/month sponsorship funds cover... food/formula/milk for the children and foster family, medicine, nurse checks and monitoring, small foster mom fee, and small misc. transport and communication costs needed to care for the children. We  have just supplied all the clothes, diapers, vitamins, toys, stollers, beds, mosquito nets, etc., needed for the time being. We are working on a system to send out monthly updates and pictures to each sponsor.

We also have in place an accountability system, BOTH HERE IN THE U.S., AND IN LIBERIA, for every dollar sent for these children.  All foster moms will be signing a receipt for their supplies every month, as well as two witnesses to the distribution. We want you to know that we cherish your commitment and your sponsorship!

All other costs for paying our Nurse Director and Overseer, are NOT part of your sponsorship.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO HELP THESE CHILDREN!

THE HAVEN CHILDREN'S PROGRAM...

The vision for building His Safe Haven village has never changed, but we now have an immediate operating program under HSH, with the 11 children we have been given to care for. We have officially named this smaller program...

THE HAVEN CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
           (AND FOSTER HOMES IN MONROVIA).

WE ONLY NEED 3.5 SPONSORSHIPS (A TOTAL OF $350/MONTH) TO COVER THE CARE AND FOSTERING OF THE 11 CHILDREN WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH!!

Here is an introduction to a wonderful friend of mine, my sister in Christ and a super prayer warrior!
She is taking on the task of the Child Sponsorships (for the 11 children we are now taking care of) and helping me with the Haven Children's Program and Foster Homes in the Monrovia area.
Tanya Pruitt
"I am first and foremost passionately in love with Jesus, my savior and my closest friend. I am a wife to a dedicated and loving husband and mother (and step-mom) to 28 children, most of them adopted. I am a retired nurse and passionate about helping homeless and abandoned children in Liberia Africa. Most of all I am so terribly blessed!!"  Tanya.

Steven...

We are saddened to say, that sweet Steven went to be with Jesus last night.  He was small and fighting an infection the clinic couldn't diagnose.  Just Monday his report was good, he was being treated with medicines and improving...until last night his symptoms returned and within hours he had died.
It's always hard losing a child, especially when we are an ocean away...
No matter what, we continue striving to help this little group of 12 'special needs' children and their foster homes, to improve and become healthier!  This is hard work for all of us involved here, but it's even harder for those in Liberia!  It's not about us anyways...it's about them and what we have been called to do!  As long as God has us where we are today, and continues fueling the fire of passion for these children...we do what we can.  They are precious and worth every hardache and tear!
