More pictures from our trip...

I can't resist this little Prince!  He smiles so much!

Barry is doing so wonderful in his new foster home!  He is well loved!

Sylvester loves to smell everything!  He is smelling Tanya's hair:0)

Alveena is also doing so wonderful with her new foster mom!

We also moved Diamond into another foster home with Jr. foster mom. This little guy is just now starting to come out of his shell.  We are looking forward to seeing his potential!

Jr. is our little ham! So happy and always wanting to walk or run!  He is such a happy kid!

Our precious Angel is all over the place now!  He rolls all over and is getting so much stronger! He is so easy to get to smile!  Definitely our most happy boy!

Tanya had purchased peanut butter and powdered milk to mix together and feed to the children.  They will be getting this everyday for awhile, to try and help get the children's weights up to a healthier level.  They all loved it!!

I couldn't spoon the peanut butter fast enough for Eric!

Wash day!

Wednesday and Thursday...

With one short week in Liberia, our schedule has been packed!  God has been gracious with paving the way to be able to accomplish so much this week!

What a blessing it has been to see how well the children and the foster moms are responding to this new move.  The area is quiet, clean and surrounded my space to start planting a small garden for food.  Everyone seems happier and content.  We were able to deliver more needed vitamins and more mattresses for the children to be laid on outside and for play, by some wonderful donors!  Tanya was also able to purchase a lot of peanut butter and powdered milk as a 'fattening and protein' source for the children, by another gracious donor! THANK YOU!

Our training workshop for the foster moms was well received.  Our prayer is that they continue learning and improving so they are giving the best care they can give to these special children!

WE THANK ALL OF OUR COMMITTED SPONSORS FOR STEPPING OUT AND PROVIDING FOR THE HAVEN CHILDREN!  YOUR SPONSORSHIP IS TRULY HELPING THESE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN AND THIS PROGRAM GET OFF TO A GREAT START!

We will be sharing more pictures of our trip once we are back in the states!

Meet Grace

This sweet and beautiful girl has Cerebral Palsy.  She loves to smile and dance.  She laughs at the other children's antics and loves to interact.

Meet Sylvester

Meet Sylvester...

This precious and handsome boy came to us through another organization, Orphan Relief and Rescue. He was abandoned and found living in the garbage dump.  He came into our program, timid, not liking to be touched, did not sleep, and suffering from seizures, which are now being treated. He is also non verbal.  This doesn't stop him from communicating!  He loves his foster mom, and gives her enough signs to get his point across.  He eats great, plays, dances and giggles.  He is so affectionate, makes awesome eye contact, and sleeps through the night!  He has blossomed under the care of his foster mom!  We can't wait to see what else is inside this precious little boy!

Sharing more pictures from Liberia

Monday and Tuesday we visited Redemption Hospital to see an abandoned baby girl with no arms and legs.  What a sweet baby!  We went to the Ford dealership to inquire about our dream vehicle for the program.
We are praying for God to provide this vehicle!
Visited a baby boy that is in private foster care that we are assisting.  He is such a handsome boy and so happy!  He loves his foster family and they love him too!

We went to a clinic, another hospital, pharmacy and onto the Haven Children.  What a blessing to see how they are all adjusting to their new environment and all appear to be happier!

We delivered supplies to the Physical Therapy Dept.

We did need to send one of our children to the clinic for Malaria treatment and for bronchitis.

So many of the children are doing so much more than we ever expected.  They still have a lot of weight they need to gain, but they just seem so much more content.

Still soooo much has to be accomplished in such a short amount of time.  Please continue praying for our children!

                                                          Our handsome Prince!

Sunday

What an awesome and busy day!

We went to a church that I often visit when I can.  I love the choir, the preaching and the welcoming spirit of all the members.

We visited all the Haven Children today.  Yesterday was the big moving day for most of them, so I was anxious to see how they were settling in for their first whole day in their new homes. They are in a better  environment, cleaner and less congested with people.  We are hoping less malaria.   I was so excited to see how happy they all were doing, especially my special boy Barry (below on my back).  He was the most happy I have seen him in a very long time.  He has a new foster mom that is taking great care of him and listening very well to instruction.  Barry was even speaking a few sentences!  We had no idea he had all that in him!  This little one amazes me and is so dear to my heart!

All of the children are amazing us with their strength and joy!  Please continue praying for their protection and for the foster moms hearts to continue to be open to instruction and learning new ways to care for their special children.  There is still so much to do!  There are also a few little ones that we will need to get some medical care for, due to some serious congestion. We have little resources for everything we need to accomplish, but God is so good and faithful!
What a blessing for us to be a small part of the lives of these precious ones from  God!

A smiling Surprise!

                                                        A happy Angel!

Almost There!!

Praise God for the wonderful sponsorships for the Haven Children!

We are almost at our goal for having all the sponsorship funds needed to take care of these precious children.

Please prayerfully consider sponsorship of $25, $50 or $100 (full child sponsor) a month. All these funds go DIRECTLY to the children's needs...food, milk, medicine, nurse checks, transportation, small foster mom pay, etc.
*Our most important need for now is the child sponsorships.

Alveena needs a $50 sponsor, or two $25 sponsors...

Barry needs a full sponsorship of $100 (or several smaller sponsors)

Eric needs a $50 sponsor or 2 /$25 sponsors...

If you would like to help the Haven Children in ANY capacity, please contact me.
