Several Children in Need!

Our team in Liberia, gets calls or visits almost daily regarding a child with special needs. So many of them are in a desperate situation, or just need a place to call home.  Each one of our Haven Children have their own story, and some very heartbreaking.
We have been contacted by the Ministry of Health in Liberia, appealing for our assistance concerning two more children who desperately need to be placed in our HSH foster homes.  We will be finding out more information in the coming days, but this now means we need to get 6 new sponsors.  Let me explain.

We have never wanted to turn a special needs child away from receiving care in our program, however, we prefer to have the funds allocated before we take on any more children.  We want to be faithful with how we allocate funds.  Currently, we praise God for supplying the funding we needed for all but 3 of our current children.

Diamond, Alvena, and baby boy Faith still need sponsors...

Then there is sweet Zay Zay who is waiting to be placed in our homes when the Ebola threat is clear enough to move him.
That makes 4 sweet children who need our help.
It also means 4 children who need sponsors to step forward and help carry the load.

Then today, we get the call for these last two who need a quick placement.  They have been in a hospital for 2 years and no family have come for them.  Now their lives are in more danger by being there, due to the Ebola crisis.  A weak and disabled child do not need to be subjected to any other illnesses.
We will be taking every precaution when we bring in these new children.  At no point are the other children and moms at risk of Ebola.  We will be bringing in a new mom into a new apartment, not in or around our present Haven Children and moms.  The new foster home will then be placed in a 21 day quarantine, food delivered to their door, and monitored by our nurse and team daily for any symptoms.
So our count today is 6.  Six more children needing sponsors that will commit to giving full ($100) monthly scholarships, or partial (1/4 or half scholarships).
These children need help now- please pray or donate as you are able!  We will post photos as soon as we obtain them.
Thank you so much....For everything you do for these fragile children.
